Piano Piano (Italian for “slowly”) was launched by Assaf Lev, owner of the long-established Bellini restaurant, and Roy Chenin – Bellini’s chef for the past five years. The restaurant is the opening salvo in a chain of Italian eateries that offer full meals alongside the welcome option of eating a fabulous pizza plus a glass of fine Italian wine.

We designed Piano Piano in true Tuscan style. The walls are brown bricks, with logs arranged on shelves, waiting to enter the pizza oven, in the best Italian tradition.
 

Piano Piano offers first courses such as a sirloin roll (NIS 34), shrimps seared in olive oil (NIS 38). As befits an Italian restaurant, there is an excellent choice of pasta, starting at NIS 38 for simple pasta dishes, and up to Pappardelle Cacciatore with beef fillet slivers at NIS 58, and panini (sandwiches) with slices of beef fillet, or chicken and bacon. Dedicated pizza people will be delighted to find that pizza are offered in two sizes – for one person or family size/ A Margerita pizza is NIS 34/56, pepperoni pizza – NIS 48/72, respectively.
